Dana Worley, Fused Glass Designs

An open window. A notch in a tree. A closed box. Curiosity compels many of us to look inside. With my work I create spaces that entice you to look inside and contemplate what lies within.

I am an artist working in kiln-formed glass. I draw my inspiration from the beautiful high mountain desert in which I live and its surrounding areas, the landscapes of places I travel, and my emotional responses to my experiences. I work with a variety of glass techniques and particularly enjoy working with frit and powdered glass to create color, texture, and design elements in my art.

I enjoy creating pieces that are functional, but are also beautiful to look at. While you're here, take a look at my on-line gallery. I hope you find some of the same beauty and joy in seeing my fused glass art pieces as I have found in creating them.
